Hi Mark,

First welcome to GiG

I do not see any easy way to set up multiple CDM instances in the same platform without code modification.

The easiest way I see for the moment would be to use 2 platforms (one with CDM EURUSD and another one with CDM GBPUSD).

It would do the trick, what do you think?

Hey I joined GiG to test out the CDM, it is really good. I seem to have the same problem as above : when I swap between currencies, it closes my previously opened currency pairs to open the new ones. This cause some trouble as each template of mine usually takes really long to load. Is there any way around this? That it can perhaps re-open existing currency pairs and not close them everytime?

Unfortuantelly, that's how it works at the moment, using heavy templates might be tricky and slow down CDM.

Here I am using light templates. Don't forget that you can apply different templates in CDM (up to 9), so you can create some light templates with different things on them depending on what ou want to monitor

Thanks for the very swift reply. I just noticed the different templates you can apply at the click of a button, very handy! I will definitely explore that more.

Also, is there a way we can still right click on undocked charts?

The undock function is pretty basic, and there is not much I can do on it as it is using an external dll

it seems that once i switch to one template (via the T1-9), I won't be able to switch to other templates even though they are saved. When they're clicked, they only refresh the latest template

Before to apply "heavy" or more "complex" templates, can you try with basic templates just for tests (change the background color on 1 template...)

I would be obliged if you could help me with a modification of CDM.

Could you please include a provision where currency pairs are grouped like this:

Example:

Selecting AUD would display charts:

AUDCAD, AUDCHF, AUDNZD, AUDJPY, AUDUSD, AUDEUR, AUDGBP

EURAUD is inverted as AUDEUR and GBPAUD is inverted as AUDGBP

Selecting CAD would display charts like:

CADXXX, CADYYY, CADZZZ etc....


Similarly for others.

Using CDM is very effective. Thank for you for a wonderful tool that is par excellence.
