ckyon1 wrote: 13 Jun 2017, 12:29 Hi GEKO,

I came over here from the FF's thread and has started using your EA due to its convenience. Just want to ask, is there a need to refresh/reload the EA after trade closes everyday?
First, welcome to GiG

It depends of your settings, if you are trading a weekly setup which open only on Monday morning at London Open, then the next basket will be open only next morning.

If you are trading a Daily basket which open at London Open EVERY DAY in settings then when the basket will be closed the next basket will be open the next day.

You should focus about the timing options inside the PDF user guide.

Demo, demo and demo...

If additional help is needed, do not hesitate to post screenshots and/or your preset files ;-)

PS: You can also check my preset files for my various tests which are available in my result's thread.
Hi Geko,

Thanks for your reply, I think you misunderstood what I meant. What I'm trying to ask is if there is any need to reload the EA on the chart after the trade closes (assuming the basket opens at L/O daily) or will the EA be fine to continue running the whole week?

Regards!

The Dashboard will open baskets according to timing settings.

When time is on, if there are some signals the DB will open trades.

So once trades are closed:

- if timing is off, the dashboard will wait for time to be on, to open new trades
- if timing is on, the dashboard will open new trades

So no need to reload the DB EA. Here on my VPS, my Dashboards are running all week long without any manual intervention.

@ mrdfx: Thanks again for sharing your results ;-) Link

A quick note about your FT test, interesting idea about having the same setup "FT", with different Trade Levels, the stronger the Trade Level goes, the bigger the lot size… I never thought about using the Dashboard this way, but at the end it would be like having Xmess EA trading the same settings with different Trade Levels but with the Trend Direction filter on :-) Good one, once I have some stats about the best setup between FT, FF, TF I will definitely set up a test this way (and probably with FT) :-D

Yes well over the weeks I've noticed that the FT setting is more profitable when trading daily and I see with your baskets you've noticed the same.

With this in mind I thought about an FT only basket but adding different levels, kind of like a filter if you will. So far its been performing very well and if it stays this consistent I'll be adding it to my live account.

Ive been testing exactly that, running a 12 basket setup with combinations of FT only (on the other EA).

It definitely does produce some great profit on the intra day session trading.

The only real issue is most of the pair recommendations from CCFp are the same across the board, so you do get quite exposed to a few pairs, and if they go bad, they ALL go bad...
