Here a quick post to explain how the combination of the Sub / Main Dashboard can work:
- The first step is to set up the Sub DB. The sub DB can generate up to 5 different signals (the idea was to limit the number of sub dashboard used in order to avoid having 1 sub dashboard per 1 main dashboard). It means that you can set multiple signals in the sub DB which will be received by different Main DB. The signals can be used as entry signals but also as exit signals (if activated).
- The second step is to set up the Main DB. Make sure to input which signal number you want to receive in the Main DB (signal number from the Sub DB). For the others settings, you already know how to proceed.
Attached is an example with the following settings (preset file included):
Sub DB Signal 1: CCFp Weekly, TF, Trade Level 2
Sub DB Signal 2: CCFp Weekly, FF, Trade Level 2
Sub DB Signal 3: CCFp Weekly, FT, Trade Level 2
Sub DB Signal 4: CCFp Weekly, TF, Trade Level 2 with Weekly Bar confirmation
When you check the signal dots, you can note that the CCFp 1 is used by signal 1 & 4. The only difference is that signal 4 is also using bar confirmation to get valid signals.
So once your settings are ok on the Sub DB, if you want to trade the Signal 4 in the Main DB you would just have to input 4 in the Main DB settings

To trade the other signals, you would have to load other Main DB and set the signals accordingly.
