CDM stands for “Chart Display Manager”.

Due to MT4 limitations, navigation between charts and charts organization is awful.

CDM tries to remedy to this issue in a simple way, by allowing the user to open and display charts with a simple click.

You want to monitor all pairs of a currency?
1 click on a currency button will open all charts pairs of the selected currency

You want to perform a deeper analysis of a pair?
1 click on a pair button will open charts of this pairs on multiple timeframes

You want to have a deeper look at a chart?
1 click on a button to maximize the chart view.

You want to monitor a pair in a specific way? (3 timeframes or 2…)
1 click on button will open different charts with different timeframes

You want to change all opened charts timeframes?
1 click on a button…

You want to change all opened charts templates?
1 click on a button…

You want to analyse specific charts areas?
A click on a button and you have multiple pairs crosshair automatically synchronized.

And much more...

When does the current CDM expire? If the expiry date is close, could you please reattach it with extended date? CDM is a life saver.

Hi Jen,

As explained in the welcome to GiG thread all tools have an expiry date set at the end of this year, and then the expiry date will be extended again

Geko i have to say once in a while i come back to this thread for GIG Ccfp DB but also for this Chart Display which is fantastic
and less complicated than others .... well not that there are many out there, just a couple _

Hello Geko,

One thing i have encountered using Chart Display Manager is, sometimes the display/main control panel freezes. Once it freezes, there is no way of recovering the original charts. We have to redo the whole thing of attaching the indicators/ templates etc.

I have a snapshot of how it looks.

Hi,
I am not sure to understand your issue, you can save templates and use them any time for your charts loaded by CDM, even if you have to re-launch CDM.
For CDM you can save the preset also.

Any additional info's would help me to figure out if I can do something more.

Hi Geko,

Example: We drag the CDM EA onto a chart and click AUD. This now displays all the AUD pairs. We can load indicators, templates onto the AUD charts.

When we open the MT4, we are greeted with the CDM main screen with the options. Clicking the screen will show us the organized AUD charts.

The issue is sometimes, clicking the CDM main screen doesn't work i.e. it does not take us to the previous organized AUD charts. The CDM screen stays unresponsive like the attachment in my above post.

The issue seems to occur after we open the MT4 after few days. Basically some issue with the Undocking of charts.
