Attached you can find Blast Price Action Dashboard.

If you are not familiar with Blast tool, you should start by having a look at Blast thread here: Link.

On the other hand, if you are already familiar with Blast, you have probably noticed that they are a few potential trade setups based on Price Action hardcoded in it. The idea of this dashboard is to have a direct view of those potential setups for the 28 standard pairs.

Here is a screenshot of the dashboard:
GiG_DB.png
This Dashboard comes as an EA even if it doesn’t open nor manage any trades. It was coded this way to make it easier to save settings as EA presets or templates.

Settings are really straight forward.

Installation & initialisation
==========================================================

• Make sure to install the DB file: Goes into MQL4\Experts
• Make sure to install the templates files: Unzip and Goes into templates
• Make sure to install the Super CSS indicator available at this link: Link
• Before first initialisation make sure to load historical data, if you don’t have any idea of what I am talking about, please have a look at this thread: : Link

Open pair’s chart on click
==========================================================

A click on the pair label will open the chart of the selected pair, you can specify the templates in the DB settings.

A click on the various icons (signals) will open the chart of the selected pair, with Blast setup to show the selected setup.

To open charts with Blast and CSS make sure to install Blast, the Super CSS indicator and to install or set the templates in Dashboard settings.

Movable dashboard
==========================================================

Dashboard is movable anywhere on your screen.
01 - Click to select the dashboard (a little square will appear in the top left corner)
02 - Let shift keyboard button and left mouse clicked and drag and drop the DB where you want.
03 - Unselect the dashboard to make sure display is correct

Dashboard Alerts
==========================================================

The signals are displayed on the right side of the Dashboard in the Signals panel.

Standard alerts modes are available (Popup, Email, Push, Sound).

The dashboard comes with complex alerts possibilities. For each potential trade setup, you can turn On if you want an Alert or not.

Prefix & Suffix
==========================================================

Dashboard tested on FXCM, JFD and TW (which have a suffix) and working fine!

Working perfectly on build 1010, windows 10, coded with editor 1384.

If your platform lag, you can try to change the refresh timer to 30 seconds, and also make sure to have history loaded.

Make sure to allow DLL imports in EA settings. DLL are used to open new charts on button click (in order to check if the pair's chart is already open).

Potential Trade Setup
==========================================================

Here is a quick description of the 11 panels available inside the Dashboard:

Infos
• The current Spread (highlighted in Orange if > average spread)
• The average spread
• Today ADR (highlighted in Orange if > average ADR)
• Average ADR (5 days as default)

Master Candle
If you are not familiar with Master Candles, to have a better understanding of them you should have a look at this thread first: Link.

The dashboard displays the potential Master Candles from the current period and the previous one as well on 4 different timeframes (Weekly, Daily, H4 and H1). The previous period Master Candle was added to highlight when some breakout occurred, and to potentially trade them.

You can use the Master Candles in 2 different ways:
• To trade the range
• To trade the breakout

In order to trade Master Candles, you want to confirm/fine tune trade setup with your own analysis, or strength tool. To trade the breakout, you can time you trigger on a lower timeframe and also wait the pullback after the breakout as a confirmation.

TMA
To have a better understanding of this concept, you should have a look at this thread first: Link.

The dashboard highlight when the previous bar (bar 1) or the bar before (bar 2) was outside TMA channel.

When you have a setup, you would need further confirmations to enter a trade (candle pattern formation, breakout…).

Wick
To have a better understanding of this concept, you should have a look at this thread first: Link.

In the panel, you will notice 2 information’s:
• Yesterday candle direction as trading in the direction of previous day candle is usually profitable.
• The price position in relation to wick zones (inside upper wick, inside lower wick, above, below).

HOLO
To have a better understanding of this concept, you should have a look at this thread first: Link.

In the panel, you will notice 3 information’s:
• If today candle is inside yesterday candle.
• If price is in HOLO zone.
• If there is a potential trade setup.

The trade setup highlight on which timeframe the potential trade setup occurs considering that to have a signals there are 3 conditions:
• Today candle is inside yesterday candle.
• Price in HO or LO zone.
• Today high or Low hasn’t occurred on current bar.

As for other setup, when you have a setup, you would need further confirmations to enter a trade (candle pattern formation, breakout…).

Pullback
To have a better understanding of this concept, you should have a look at this thread first: Link.

The dashboard display if there is potential pullback signal for the day, or if the timing is ok to start looking for a trade or if it is too late.

Fractal
To have a better understanding of this concept, you should have a look at this thread first: Link.

In the panel, you will notice 2 information’s:
• If close of previous bar (bar 1) is inside Fractal box.
• If current price (bar 0) is inside Fractal box.

When the price is currently inside a Fractal Box you might want to look for a potential trade considering that the Fractal Box is not too big, and that you would need further confirmations to enter a trade (candle pattern formation, breakout…).

When the previous bar was inside a Fractal Box and that the Current Price is not anymore in the Fractal Box it means that the breakout occurred already. You want to look at a potential pullback trade after the breakout confirmation

CSS
To have a better understanding of CSS, you should have a look at this thread first: Link.

The dashboard display the Super CSS strength on 2 timeframes (Daily and H4 as default) to gauge the strength. I am currently testing this Super CSS stuff at the moment. If we prove it to be useful, fine, if not it might be replaced with another strength calculation in the future.

You can notice that when Daily timeframe is trending in 1 direction and that H4 timeframe cross in Daily direction an icon highlight a potential strength trade.

Signals
The signals are summarized in this panel.

In the previous panels, the setups were purely based on Price Action. In this signals panel, those previous setups are combined with CSS in order to find a combination of Price Action with Strength.

Reminder, a click on any of the icons or signals icons will open the chart of the selected pair, you can specify the templates in the DB settings.

Cash Rate
This panel at the bottom of the Dashboard only display the previous interest rate per currency and the current one.

If decision rate is planned for the current week, the date is highlighted in colour.

If decision rate occurred last week, the date is highlighted in colour.

The net cash rate is then allocated per pair on the dashboard (just after pair’s label).

Cash rate have to be fulfilled manually inside the Dashboard. Here are 2 links were you can find Cash Rates:

Trading Economics
Fx Street

Ok guys, Dashboard update is available in post 1.

Finally, I have included a strength panel into it.
DB_STRENGTH.png
Initially, I didn’t want to include such an information as I have never found any real advantage in strength tools. I have tested a lot of them, and all of them show you what happened, and not what’s going to happen. There is no real edge to base you trading on this information.

But they can show you the big picture.

Strength Methods
==========================================================

There are 3 different Strength method available:

Buy Sell Ratio
The dashboard is using the standard calculation and gives the result as a %: ( (Close – Low) / (High – Low) ) * 100

The pairs Buy Sell ratio are weighted per currency.

Pips from Open
The dashboard is calculating the pips distance from open and summing them per currency.

Larry Williams' Percent Range
The dashboard is using the standard MT4 WPR calculation.

The pairs WPR are weighted per currency.

Timeframes
==========================================================

You can note that the panel can displays the Strength for 8 timeframes from Monthly to M5. I have not included M1 as it would not give a pertinent information.

At the bottom, you can sum all timeframes or only some of them, settings are available in the dashboard.

You can also show for 1 timeframe the previous Strength. In the screenshot above the previous period info is used on the Daily TF (P: D1), and just below you can see the difference between the current calculation and the previous one. In OOTB settings the previous period calculation is stored every 15 minutes, you can change the refresh timer in the Dashboard settings.

Top Pairs
==========================================================

You can note on the right side of this panel that the Top 1 & Top 2 pairs based on the Strength are listed. You can choose to hide this info per timeframe if you don’t want it.

Sorted Strength
==========================================================

To make it easier to read you can sort vertically the strength on the extreme right side of the panel.

To change which timeframe is displayed just changed the value in the edit box.

Strength Open Time shift
==========================================================

For the Daily timeframe only and for the Buy Sell Ratio and Pips from open Strength only, onclick, you can change the open time for calculation to: Daily open, Tokyo Open, London Open, New York Open.

PS: The Strength calculation is refreshed every 5 seconds (Default value in settings) and can be changed.

Hello Sir, today is the first day I attached the BPAD on my Chart.

If you don´t mind, when receiving alerts (Default Settings) , which steps do you take in order to choose whether a trade is worth going Long or short?

It is about a year now, since I started with trading and I still have a Long way to go.

Any advise much appreciated

Just wanted to let you know I've started using the price action dashboard more regularly. I find it is a lot of information in one place, and I'm not too familiar with all the strategies that it was designed for, so I am going through them with the manual, but slowly.

Thanks again for all your work, and I hope we can make 2017 a banner year.

Hi,

I have not prepared a detailed doc explaining how to trade the Dashboard’s signals, but all the concepts behind those signals are explained in GiG forum.

As explained in the Welcome to GiG thread, my first step was to share some useful handy tools and a few trading ideas. The next step, the current one, is to test those setups and test them again to keep the most accurate and best ones.

This step is going to take some time, and that’s why at the moment I don’t post as much as I was…

But hey I am still here, silent, monitoring the forum and trading ;-)

As always, any ideas about what was posted and new ideas are more than welcome…

This looks like another great dashboard of yours.
Can't wait to start testing it and get familiar with some new concepts here...
After reading all the threads found the answer to the question on my reply to your welcome message. Will keep other place questions outside of GIG.... understood the explanation you gave to another member and totally agree with you.
Thanks again for sharing your hard work with us.
