Hi all,
Sessions are very useful in forex trading. We know that with each session start we get new money into the market and the volatility raises. Many strategies are based on session openings.
In MT4 and the jungle of available brokers it's very difficult to track those sessions and when the DST comes into play it will be much more complicated. Some indicators and ea's have internal calculations to determine the GMT offset of your broker via compare of local time and broker time. This solution will not work when markets are closed or in strategy tester, then you have to add the GMT offset via parameter. This will obviously not work in tester when the broker changes the GMT offset during the time when america has or still has DST and europe not started DST or still switched back from DST.
So we need a reliable solution when the markets are closed and independent from parameters. Here we got such a solution!
This indicator not only show you the session start and end for Tokyo, London and New York. You also can fade out candles if you not interested in that session, so you can focus on the candles you are interested in. By default you see all 3 session but you can turn they on/off via parameters.
Have fun with this little handy helper.
