You are a genius Geko..I was thinking the same thing. You know what they say about great minds think alike. So in summary if this feature is added to virtual basket , that means the VB will now monitor and display pip start , maximum pips , minimum pips, pips end for Virtual basket?.This will make the VB an awesome tool..Thank you once again for he great work and brilliant ideas you share.
Geko wrote: 02 Jun 2017, 12:11 Just a note for later: I was thinking at the virtual basket.

Mine was not triggered yet. In order to trigger a basket the min pips coutn must be >= at xxx pips.

Here the idea, what if the max pips count never go above 0 or barely?

What about triggereing the basket with inversed signals ?

Let's keep that in mind...

PS: to be able to see if the approach is valid we need another info: what is the ending pips count per time slot. I have just added this info, it will be able in next update to be released:

Triggering the virtual basket with two options 1.true signals and 2.reverse signals sounds like a perfect plan..You are a smart man.. :-)

Nearly correct. ...for example if + 300 basket opens first my sl 300 but my -300 baskets (reverse trades) has now moved to 0 pips. So never flat. Similarly if my -300 basket opens first then what was my +300 moves to 0 pips to open normal basket.......
Sorry for this dumb question but I am not sure yet to have fully grasp the concept:

The more I think at it the more I think the Virtual Basket could be a killer.

Thanks to this approach we don’t need to focus on opening time anymore. We just have to set a time slot to monitor Virtual basket let’s say from Frankfurt open until mid-New-York session (around 1 hour before London close) and we just have to wait for best condition to trigger our basket automatically.

The good thing with this approach is that it could definitely help to reduce the Drawdown of our basket.

It can be applied to Daily setup off course and also to the weekly.

It should be fun to test it in the coming days.

Have a nice week-end.

Another idea I had for some future development, just to put it on the table, was some form of auto position sizing based on the Account size, SL and number of trades.

I dont know what the best formula would be to use, but it would be great to automatically calculate a position size based on the % amount you wish to risk per basket...
