Hi Guys,

Dashboard update: V.108 available in post 1. It is not a major update you can just erase your previous DB verion.

PDF user guide updated also.

Starting from now, when I post an update, I will add to my messages the wording that I add in the user guide also in my post to make it easier for your guys who are following the thread to know what has changed.

The information’s will be in the PDF user guide as well for new comers and as a reference guide.

- Special Basket Management “Basket open time”:

To avoid confusion, when there is no basket open, the date is empty, the opening time will appear only where there is basket:

- Virtual Basket ending pips

Now the information about the pips count at the end of a time slot is displayed in the Virtual Basket column:

It is not cumulative, if you want to know how many pips a VB has moved from a time slot to another you have to sum up the ending pips values.

I wanted to post this latest DB version early so as your guys can work and prepare your setup before market open.

After discussions with Forexpinbar, I will code an option to trigger virtual baskets with reversal trades when max pips count = 0. I will start coding it tomorrow.

The Virtual Basket’s column is taking a lot of space and our screens do not have unlimited space available. I was considering to remove the “base” column from information’s available on screen and to place it as a comment in the min pips comments (when you hover your mouse over the min pips value). What do you think?

I personally dont think it will be necessary because we can always disable other display features like Special basket , maximum drawdown and profit per pair , display ttoday and all time resultts etc to make enough space for virtual basket display..Just my 2 cents

Night time here, and it is quiet… so I have some time for me.

This week-end I managed to work a little bit on the forum and to organize personal threads and a few things to make navigation and organization better. I hope it will make it easier for us to share and compare settings and results to find the best combinations.

Here are my plans for the coming days:

1 – Virtual Basket reversal trades
Finally, I am going to code this function into the DB. Forexpinbar showed me a few screenshots about backtests which seems to confirm that it is worth it.

It shouldn’t be long to code, but I need to reorganize the way how Virtual baskets are triggered in general. I am going to start working on that right now.

2- Alan Virtual basket concept
Alan’s approach to trade VB seems quite interesting, so I will start coding this approach inside the DB once the reversal VB is ok.

Market is open, but it is a tricky week which is coming with a lot of news and:

Monday: Bank holiday
Thursday: elections in UK

Hello ladies and gentlemen..I am sharing a screenshot of backtest results of weekly signals(False False) trade level 2 and these signals were traded on daily basis according to the backtest...This backtest was computed with 1hour candlestick..In the screenshot you can see that majority of the time when MIN PIPS(minimum pips) =0 , the basket closes in profit..On the other hand when the MAX PIPS(maximum pips)=0 , the basket closes in loss..The logic of the virtual basket that was coded by our great coder Geko is to mimic the logic in this backtest..That is , to monitor the 1hour candle and trigger real basket with virtual basket when MIN PIPS(minimum pips)= 0 .Why 1hour candle?Because the backtest was conducted with 1hour price data..But you can choose your own time period for the virtual basket monitor..The second logic of the virtual basket is to monitor the 1 hour candle and trigger the real trades but this time around with reverse signals when the MAX PIPS(Maximum pips)=0 . NB:The virtual basket triggers the real basket after the close of the 1hour candle..There are several other options iin the Virtual basket that we can capitalize on..

I just asked a silly questions about the Buy / Sell buttons not on the screen when I changed the Use as EA to False

But I deleted the post after I rechecked and found the Display option way down in Setting 14

Would it be possible to move that up to the top next to the Use as EA setting?

Screen size is definitely a problem. I'm using a 13 inch laptop for trading and I'm unable to see all the info. I've added the VB which is only partial visible. I'm aware of setting today results and all time results to false so I can see the VB, but I also need to see the daily results.

Is it not possible to perhaps in a future update that we can set the infos panel to display or not, and also maybe if the today results and all time result could be separated then we can choose which column we would like to show on our DB? Just a thought, thanks.
