Hi Gecko,

I don't have email alerts set to on as I am trying to get push notifications to my phone, which was working before.

I put two files in indicators folder and one in the experts folder. The experts one I attached to a spare chart SEKJPY and put this chart in the parameters. I attached the GIG-Save indi on the chart I am monitoring, the buttons and everything are showing correctly. Everything seems to work but I am getting no notifications to my phone, the test function works however.

I have tried the indi and EA on the spare chart but to no avail.

Not sure what you mean by an issue with the charts tool "save", I don't remember and issue with this just no push notifications going through.

Thanks

Hi,

Concerning the save issue, it was concerning a question from another guy, sorry for the confusion.

For the push notifications, here is what I do:

1 – set up notifications options in MT4 and in your device:

2 – set up push notifications on true in the EA version of the monitor

And it is working fine here.

Please let me know if you still have the issue.

The save indi placed in the chart , then when changed o another timeframe (say from H1 to H4), the indi icon disappeared in the chart, however, it is still there in the indicator list. And you gotta edit the indi once, then it re-appear in the chart.
Are you using other indis/tools on you chart in addition to it?

Ok I thing I know what is going on with the alerts.

Are you using your previous templates with the tools? If so it might be the reason.

With the previous versions of the tools, the standard names and global variables were using DFC everywhere. To avoid any issue with DFC I changed those names and global variables to TM.

So, for a new user with a fresh start, no probs, everything is working fine.

But if you are an “old school” user :x7: you might face some issues due to this modification.

Here how to manage that:

You just have to make sure to use the same Global Variables prefix in the Trade Monitor Dashboard and in the Save chart tool.

The new Trade Monitor Dashboard is using “99999-TM—” as standard GV when the previous version was using “99999-DFC—"

Just keep this TM as standard.

Concerning the save chart tool, when you load it on a fresh chart, it is also using “99999-TM—", so no probs here, it is working fine for a new user.

But if you are an old school user and that you are using old templates, the GV would still be “99999-DFC—“, just make sure to change it to “99999-TM—" and it should be working fine.

I just made other tests with email and push notifications and everything is working fine.

Hope it helps ;-)

Nothing has changed between the 2 versions excepted the names and the Global Variables prefix as explained in my previous post.

If you are using your “old” templates which were using the previous DFC save tool, just make sure to change the GV prefix and the save tool name in your templates (you can edit them manually with notepad to go faster if you want as on the pic below).

Otherwise fresh templates would probably solve your issue.
