This is happening on the laptop I use for the testing which has a 1360 X Res.
Got all full now and can't move the first time testing tools back to there ...
Anyway never mind .. i'll find a way
For the columns firewight already answered you.

Have you tried to play with the full screen mode (shortcut F11)?

Hi Geko, I will test the DB with a demo account tonight when I'm free :)
For now what I can see is the the signals on the dashboard for settings T/F doesn't seem to match the signals given on the indicator. Signals on F/F and F/T setting has been compared and they are consistent with the signals on the dashboard!
Don't you think that's the first thing I have done to make sure signals are the same ;-)

Here a screenshot.

Please note that the CCFp calculation in the Dashboard is refreshed every 15 minutes in OOTB settings. There is an option to change this value if you want. You can also change the DB chart timeframe to another to get a refresh ;-)

Yes thank you Geko , I am almost always using F11, and the other thing is really a problem about the screen resolution ,,, which Btw i have on another computer, however _ It was the same with Seller Basket Trading when using his DB..
I got the other pc with good resolution, but there i run the 2 live accounts, so i can't mix the new testing Ea's and so on ,,,
So will have to transfer the additional screen monitor from one laptop to the other _
i didn't do it before cos i thought the Db was all centered, but it has many functions so it is understandable ...

@ Scali:

Hi Scali,

Late answer, not that I wanted to ignore your post, but sometimes when I know that an answer is going to take some time, I keep it for later and answer the other posts first ;-)

John has perfectly answered to you, I am 100 % in line with what he said.

I would add that coding such things would be like having a kind of Grid Trading and averaging down the price at various levels. Doing such things on 1 pair is one thing, but doing it with a whole basket is another. It would make it really difficult to follow what’s going on with the basket.

Like John said, when entering 108 pips away CCFp “would be signalling an opposite entry by the time it meets the scenario set by yourself”.

Instead of managing each pair separately I really prefer to manage them as a whole basket.

Now here is a tip which you might like:

You have probably noticed the Special Basket function in the DB. At the moment, I am not really using it, nor that I don’t like it, but because I keep my baskets opened as much as possible to get some stats. But be sure that I will use the function in the future.

With your idea, you would be averaging down the price 108 pips away, and so you need price to move at least half the distance to your initial entry price to be at BE, and that on each pair.

Here with the Special Basket Management you can track the Profit and Drawdown for the entire basket and so manage the basket as a whole thing.

Here a screenshot to highlight what I mean, the basket was in profit and made a new high water mark for the total profit at 1457 (but you can note that the pairs in profit were at a new high when the pairs in drawdown were at a new low). Then you can see that the drawdown start to decrease and here you can play with that to place a Stop on the pairs in drawdown… You have a deeper explanation in the PDF.

Late answers today guys, I was sick all night long, and so it is like black Monday here.

I have started to work on DB V 1.14 to improve how the DB reset the previous Virtual Baskets to be ready to trade for the next time slot (session) as there are a few things to improve.

I won’t post the this update today as additional testing is needed and I want to be back at 100 % to avoid mistakes ;-)

On another subject, I was reported that the DB and the PDF user guide were posted on other forums. I cannot stop you from doing it guys and you are free to do it but please note that:

- I won’t stop you from doing it as I am here to do the “police”
- In other forums people won’t be aware of updates
- in other forums people won’t have access to this thread where questions are answered
- I won’t answer to questions in other forums

Nor that I don’t want to participate in other forums, but I don’t want to answer the same questions again and again in different places. And concerning the original thread at FF, FPB and Xmess are already doing a great job there and I don’t want to clutter their thread.

So, communication about the Dashboard with screenshots of results is great but for questions related to the DB I would advise to post a link to this thread ;-)

If you see the DB in other forums than FF do not hesitate to tell me so as I can have a look from time to time.

JohnSmith2nd wrote: 19 Jun 2017, 09:55 First of all, thank you to Geko, FPB and all the contributors to this amazing thread. I'm an avid reader of the FF thread, and have been trialing xmess's baskets with the CCfp strategy and I love it. It suits me and my trading style and it's the first time I've come across a strategy and system that works for my lifestyle.

I have been testing out the GIG DB and I'm impressed with the features. There appears to be a lot of different elements and I think I may have gotten something wrong. I was hoping to have my basket open trades at 0900 local time, which I input in my time settings. However It's actually BEFORE 0900 at the time of posting and I realise that several trades were opened at random times from midnight til 0100 today and I am unsure why this is.

I have uploaded the settings I have used. Is anyone able to kindly assist in where I've gone wrong? I've followed the PDF and I may have missed something, but again wanted to post this encase this may be a bug of some sorts.

Thanks all!

GIG Weekly Test 1.zip

I have just checked your preset file and it sounds ok, just to be sure, before to apply the DB on your charts have you loaded your preset ?

The issue might be that you have switched off the option to use Session Open for timing and that your Local Time settings were not filled?

Can you try to make a “dumb” test with a different hour to see if it works ok.
I think I realised my mistake. I have not put 99 in the boxes for the previous days... So trading commenced as soon as I loaded the DB.. I've tested with a new time, and it opened on the dot... Thanks for making me realise this! :-) Again great tool, and I wish you luck in your endeavors! I will be watching and taking part as much as I can in this thread.

Hi Geko,

As per your instruction, I set up a dummy trade by removing the trading time, changing magic number and the EA opened the trades as screenshot below. Seems that the EA is now working as intended and none of the problems I've faced this afternoon has occurred in this dummy run.

This is strange, I wonder what caused the EA's behavior this afternoon.
