Hello guys so before I get into my basket updates and reports let me first tell you which baskets I'm testing and their settings. I'm testing a total of 8 baskets. See below:

BASKET 1: Weekly, (TF, FF) MA5/12, Candle filter W1, MN1, 09:00GMT open.

BASKET 2: Daily 1440, (TF, FF, FT level 2) MA5/12, Candle filter W1, MN1, 09:00GMT-19:00GMT.

BASKET 3: Daily 1440, (TF, FT level2) (TF, FT level 3) MA5/12, Candle filter W1, MN1, London Open.

BASKET 4: Weekly 10080, (TF, FF level 2) MA3/5, Candle filter W1, MN1, London open.

BASKET 5: Daily 1440, (TF, FF, FT level 2) MA3/5, Candle filter W1, MN1, London open.

BASKET 6: Daily 1440, (FT, level 2) (FT, level 3) MA3/5, Candle filter W1, MN1, 09:00GMT-19:00GMT.

BASKET 7: Monthly 43200, (TF, FF level 2) MA3/5, Candle filter W1, MN1, 09:00GMT open.

BASKET 8: Monthly 43200, (TF FF level 2) MA3/5, Candle filter W1, MN1, 09:00GMT-19:00GMT.

On a side note, after chatting with forexpinbar, I'll be adding the VB function to all my daily baskets starting from tomorrow.

Monday 05/06/2017

So today has not been a good day. I'm not too sure if it was because of the Euro bank holiday and being a Monday as well, but none of my baskets fared very well. I'm not even going to list the individual results, I'll just share total results for today.

I hope tomorrow will be a better day and we can recover.

Weekly baskets total pips profit/loss: -320 Pips

Daily baskets total pips profit/loss: -500 Pips

I have added the VD to all the daily baskets going on the recommendation of forexpinbar. i'm hopeing for some interesting positive results.

Today fared much better than yesterday, although with the addition of the VB to the daily baskets none of them triggered today so I don't have any figures for them. I'm hoping that tomorrow they will open so I can test how the VB can benefit the baskets.

Monday 12/06

Hello guys sorry for the late update, things have been busy this side of the hemisphere. A lot has changed in the last few days. I wasn't having success with the VB, perhaps I was doing something wrong as my baskets were not getting triggered properly so I decided to remove them.

Also I had completed 3 weeks testing of the above baskets and made some cuts. Actually the only baskets I kept was the daily FT as that had the most consistent results.

I have decided to add some new baskets to my testing and hoping to see some interesting results. I have created 18 new baskets, 9 weekly and 9 daily with the following setting;

Weekly: TF, FF, FT, Level 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, trend filter ON, candle filter MN current, W1 previous, 09:00GMT open.
Daily: TF, FF, FT, Level 2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10, trend filter ON, candle filter MN current, W1 previous, 09:00-19:00GMT.

Some updates to the above baskets. So far they doing very well for a Monday.

Today has been an amazing day. I wish all days were like this! Below are the results for the daily and weekly running baskets.

Tuesday 13/06

Today has been a mixed bag. My weekly baskets did not perform as good as yesterday but thankfully they are still in good profits. Th daily baskets however did not perform well and were running in and out of profits the whole day and closing in a small loss for the day. The only daily basket that did well was the FT basket which somehow managed to make a pretty good profit.

Wednesday 14/06

Today was an interesting day with a lot of red news from US interest rate decision and FOMC. I was very curious to see how the baskets would handle such fundamental news. Overall the baskets did survive with the weekly basket actually hitting a new high and then slowly decreasing with slightly more pips than yesterday.

The daily did not fair to well but neither to bad and closed with a small profit of +156 pips. The daily FT basket did not take to kindly to the red news today and closed on a loss. Overall the basket is still green but lets see how it will finish this week.
