Hey,
Has anybody got any recommended ICO's they have personally invested in?

I have just joined the Crypto20 Fund. https://crypto20.com/en/

At the time of writing there are 8 days left. I think it should be an interesting ride for a small investment. I had to setup my first wallet for it and have chosen Eidoo as it is ERC20 compliant and its on your mobile. As proof here is my initial stake to test the app and within 24 hrs that should be increased.

Hello,

I am not in any ICO at the moment, so far, I have only invested in 1 ICO: Substratum.

I get a good and fast return on it.

Most of the time what I do is to wait just after the ICO is finished. Once the coin is quoted in an exchange most ICO investors are selling their coins for a fast profit. Usually there is down pressure. When price look interesting I try to enter at a low for a quick and fast profit. Definitely a day trading approach.

I have not used this strategy those last week’s considering all the shit that happened with the potential hard fork and the reallocation of cash on Bitcoin.

But it is starting to turn and money start to flow again in altcoins.

Bitcoin will probably keep its focus for a few weeks considering the new “futures” instruments which are going to be traded in US starting in December the 11th (CME Chicago). At the same time I am writing this post I have just read that a fund was launched in France as well. Big money will definitely enter the market.

Now the tricky thing with those new instruments is that they will be able to short the market, a thing with was do-able but not that easy so far.

I am going to have a look at Crypto 20 right now and get back to you.

I remember about this one finally, I have looked at it when it was announced a few months ago. I have not invested in it but it can clearly be a good one. I won’t go in the ICO but I will definitely look at it when the coin will be on an exchange.

An interesting one to look at is Neufund. I have done their French translation on Bitcointalk (first time I do that) as I clearly believe in their project. Basically with ICO you can invest in projects which are always connected with the blockchain, having their own coins… The concept of Neufund is to launch some ETO which is a revolutionary concept to funds companies. Once their platform will be online you will be able to invest in “real” companies, and in exchange you will receive Equity tokens. I will prepare a more detail article to post here.

Otherwise, I am not looking at any ICO at the moment, I would say that I “more” trying to allocate my cash correctly in various altcoins.

I hve just read the lightpaper for the Neufund. I think the concept is a solid one. However as there are many ICO's ongoing by themselves it makes me think that unless they have compaines lined up for ICO's that dont have the expertise then why would you use Neufund? Maybe I am missing something. Regarding the min invest it is 1 ETH if I am not mistaken? I am also invested in bitcoin and some altcoins at present abit just starting out. Any Altcoins tips and why?

For Neufund the idea is simple, imagine that one of your friend wants to open a Pizzeria around the corner but he does not have enough funds.

Ad it is a real economy project, it cannot be financed with an ICO.

That's where Neufund act as a "Venture Capital" to help your friend get some cash through an ETO.

He has to submit his project on Neufund platform, and if an investor is interested then in exchange of cash the investor will receive "real" equity shares of the company (o make it simple).

It makes Funds raising accessible to everybody which is a major improvement.

I will prepare a review later on with more details.

Concerning potential altcoin investments, situation is a bit tricky at the moment.

As Bitcoin market cap is increasing on a Daily basis, some part of this cash is then reallocated on various altcoins.

I don’t have any specific recommendation. At the moment I try to day trade on coins that I really “trust” for long term. If I spot a good opportunity at a low then I enter and try to get out at a high.

Not a recommendation, but at the moment I navigate between: iota, bitcoin cash, neo, dash and I plan to add Monero to the list. I buy at a low then sell it and move to the next coin next opportunity.

Most of them are “big” coins.

I have a small amount that I use to day trade on small coins but I don’t any specific reco for them as they change every day.

Previously my main strategy was more to hold coins for mid/long term, it sounds that it is still a good approach but I wait a little bit to go back on this approach.

I hope to share more tips soon but at the moment it is really tricky…

PS: here is a post about the various approaches that I had to manage my portfolio:
