We are not here to share tools which have been shared xxx times in different places. If some open sources tools present an interest or need a modification, they might be shared in our forum. Do not expect to find any copyright material shared in our forum, unless the member who posted the files own the copyright or have a written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material.
Concerning our own tools here at GiG, you can expect to find some innovative tools that you won’t find anywhere else. We spent and we are going to spend some time to develop innovative, unique, tools to serve our trading. We are using those tools and we are not developing them just to sell them.

STAGE 1

At the moment we are at stage 1.
Our focus will be to make sure that the forum is working as intended, to solve bugs here and there in order to make sure that you are having a good surfing experience here at GiG.
At the same time, we have started to share some handy tools. The purpose of those tools is to make the trader life easier, to speed up the time needed to navigate between charts, to have all useful information’s at 1 click, to clean trader’s charts to show only crucial information’s (less is more).
We would appreciate if you give us your feedback about how you are using those tools, if they help you…

Stage 1 is now cleared, our main tools are available in the forum, you can find:
Blast, a great tool to open, manage and monitor trades, which also have unlimited trailing options on the fly, stacking and scaling options, various cool transparent MAs & TMAs ribbons and much more,
CDM, the prefect tool to navigate between charts in no time,
Report, Monitor, Email, FTP, Calculate, a tool which is always open on my first chart to record equity, floating profit and drawdown per pair, which allow me to receive account information’s per mail on a regular basis and much more,
And a few other handy tools. That’s not a lot of tools, but those tools can really change the way you are trading and improve your trading almost immediately. The 3 tools mentioned above are always opened on my platforms, I use them intensively and thanks to them, I can save a lot of time.
It doesn’t mean that other tools won’t be shared in the future, but with those 3 tools, a lot of trading aspects are covered.
Now it’s time to move to Stage 2 and try to find and share consistent profitable strategies, the critical part.

STAGE 2

Stage 2 will be focused on strategies.
That’s the critical stage, we hope you will join us, discuss, exchange and share with us your experience.
At the opposite of other well-known forums, the idea here is not to share tons of strategies. If a strategy is working we will push it and make it visible, if not, we will throw it into the recycle bin. Why keeping hundred pages of useless stuff? (An archive will be accessible for history, but we won’t push those).
Our goal as a trader is to achieve Consistency trough a proven methodology and a Statistical Edge.
We have some ideas, we have dedication, we have knowledge, we have goals, let’s make it together.

Those last days, a few ideas and dashboards were shared in the forum. Most of those ideas are purely based on Price Action. Now some time is needed to educate traders and answer questions. Intensive testing is also needed to fine tune those ideas.
STAGE 3

Stage 3 will be focused on building a community and education.
I really think that there is something really dark behind MT4 and forex in general. Forex is not an easy market to trade for retail traders, there are so many big dogs out there who have access to confidential information’s and unlimited resources.
From my point of view, it would really make sense to have some communities (groups) who are trying to help each other to fight those big dogs. Instead of that, there are plenty of forums with thousands of threads and posts, where the potential good information’s are lost in this quagmire.
CDM and Blast have some basic functions which should really be native in MT4, I truly think that just those 2 tools can change the way most traders (especially newbie) are trading and improve their results almost immediately.
The plan here at GiG is definitely not to create another Forex Factory, but if we can have a group of “educated/advanced” traders who help each other and find some ideas to make some cash on a consistent basis the goal would be reached. In this stage, I will try to attract a few members in GiG to have a little bite of visibility and have a few veteran traders in the forum.
STAGE 4

I think we will wait to have Stage 3 cleared before to take the EA direction here at GiG. So many people (I use the term people and not traders on purpose) think that EA are just set and forget tools! And at the end they got burned

We are not here to reinvent the wheel. Which mean we won’t code or recode every single indicator available on the net. If you are using useful tools and want to share them here at GiG please do it, but when possible please add a short reference about the author and where you found it. Instead of having a thread per indicator, soon we will create an index with a list of useful indicators and links to download them.
All posts with a direct contribution from GiG will be preceded with [GiG].
We are not here to share what was shared hundreds of times in other forums or websites. But if we find some interesting articles we will simply share them here at GiG with a link to the source. Those article’s titles will be preceded with [EXT] indicating that the article is coming from an external source.
As a general rule, when you want to share results here at GiG, ALWAYS explain what was you Risk Reward ratio, even if it not positive. In order to assess if a strategy is profitable or not, your expectancy etc, it is a crucial information.

GiG is finally back online after a few months offline and without activity.
Those last months I was contacted by several members of GiG who are using the tools on a regular basis for their trading. So far, I was sending them GiG’s tools directly but I thought it would be great to get GiG Forum back online to provide them also the documentation available in the various threads, as well as a place to discuss and show how they use the tools.
On my side, I didn’t had time to trade lately. Life has changed, kids are growing and taking more time, daily job also.
I plan to get back in the game in the coming weeks but with a different approach.
Finished the time while I was more a coder than a trader. I plan to focus more on Price Action and less on coding.
More on that later.
You can also notice that GiG domain has changed to www.greedisgood.world. I had an issue during the renewal of the previous domain www.greed-is-good.com and some Fxxxxxx lurkers took it !
